Where is all the life in the oceans?

Research shows that plastic pollution is growing every year. The crisis is so bad that now there are currently more than 150 areas in the world that have been confirmed to not support marine life, due to the extreme amounts of plastic pollution present in the water.
Studies also predict that right now, more than two thirds of fish around the world are affected by plastic. Approximately 60% of sea birds already have plastic inside them.

The EPA states that ‘every bit of plastic ever made still exists.’ And it is estimated that if pollution continues to increase, then in only 30 years every 99 in 100 sea birds will suffer from having 1 or more pieces of plastic in their stomachs.
